Fruity, sweet, thick with a slight balsamic flavor. Saba translates to "cooked wine" Lambrusco grapes are simmered for many hours. Quince, cinnamon and cloves are added prior to bottling, Breakfast (pancakes) to desert at dinner, this is the most widely used of the Cavedoni vinegar. Use this Saba on cheese, roasted vegetables, vanilla ice cream, baking and wherever a "sweet and sour" balance is needed.

I toured the Cavedoni operation in Italy a few years ago as part of a food tour and spent a wonderful hour there. To me, the Cavedoni Saba is the best around. We use it mostly as a topping for vanilla ice cream, with just a few drops needed. Northeast Vinegar packaging was good, and it arrived within a week, so all around happy with the vendor and the product.
I came across this product at the Mohegan Sun wine festival and ever since then it’s my go to whether it be on salad or chicken so many different things. It’s like my secret weapon for food and for taste I’m so glad that I came across this and I appreciate being in introduced to this product as well as your other product lines thank you once again continued success
